Please come with us to London and send a message to the new government that the want commitment and investment to stop the pollution of our rivers, lakes and seas, including our local River Ver chalk stream.

Meet 11.30am St Albans City station
And then on to London to fill the streets, ending in Parliament Square.
(The official event will be from c1pm to 5pm)

What do we want?

  • Stop the sewage from Markyate (2600 hours discharged in 2024)
  • Stop the leaks in St Albans
  • Enforce the law, punish polluters
  • Reduce abstraction, build more reservoirs
  • Less unwanted nitrates in the Ver
  • Less road runoff, straight into our chalk stream

Come and join the many other organisations and campaigners from around the country – from Surfers Against Sewage and the Wildlife Trusts to Feargal Sharkey and the WI.

If your favourite charity isn’t organising a local contingent to go to the March, we invite you to join our friendly group for a great day out in good company and you can wave the banner of your choice!
