Wildfest Sat 2 July, Verulamium Park
The Ver Valley Society has a stand at the Wildfest Festival in Verulamium Park on Saturday 2nd July from 10am to 4pm. Wildfest will be situated near to Inn on the Park. Members and visitors are welcome to drop by for a chat – we’ll be happy to answer any queries and explain the major challenges facing the Ver in 2023.
We’ll have a large tank containing some of the creatures that live in the river and depend on the Ver being be a sparkling chalk stream all year round. From fish to flowers and birds to bees, come and tell us what wildlife you’ve seen along the Ver!
